For the last two years a dream of a garden railway has grown inside my head. I have been on severeal exhibitions and driving meetings with friends, where these trains has beein driven. You may say my fingers has been tickling to be able to have one of these myself in my garden.

In the summer of 2011 I moved in to a new house with a garden where a garden railway could be realized, and early in November 2011 i bought my first steam locomotive with som waggons and tracks. The steam locomotive has been delivered from Living Steam in Norway, and is produced by Roundhouse.

The garden railway is to be buildt between my garage and my front yard, where there is a slope. The surface measures about 12 x 6 meters, and I'm thinking about and oval track with a cog railway going up the slope.

Hopefully the start of building my garden railway will be in spring 2012 after the snow has gone away.
